Family and friends

Eliza Brooks is the oldest member of the Brooks family and of East Preston and she is our grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.

Nanny has lived at Brooks Drive for more years than most of us have seen.

She has seen the once dirt road paved, drawn water from the well and has walked many miles.

She has raised her children and cared for many more. Including myself, she took me in at 2 months old (when she was 70yrs old)

Nanny continues to be an active member of the church.

Sadly, Nanny was abruptly moved out of her home at 295 Brooks Drive where she has lived for decades, the place, the street she calls home for more than a century.

Her home has seen many transformations. In February 2018 it was deemed unhealthy and unsafe for her to live in and now Nanny resides at the Sarah Jane Clayton Manor in East Preston. A stone's throw from our homestead.

At 104 years old Nanny wishes to spend whatever time God has left for her in this world at her home.

We are asking for your support to make Nanny's wish come true.
