Rebuild Fr Dixons home in Kerala

Mary and I are heart broken learning the devastating reality that our very good friend Fr Dixon’s family is at right now. Their safety is now what is very important but also the idea of going home to find nothing. This is a very humble, faithful and proud  family. They keep their struggles very private and learn how to master the storms when they hit with faith and patience. We are asking our family and friends to help us as much as we can and as little as we can afford to have some funds for Fr Dixon that he can assist his Mom and Dad  at this tragic time. This family's home is all what they have and it is all flooded. they don't have much to lose but the little they have is a struggle to replace, such as a very small fridge, a TV( only thing to keep them entertained) , a couch, chairs and a table, Paint, towels, mattresses and couple beds, clothes, floors. Fr Dixon was and will always be here for all of us in good times and bad times offering support to all who are in need. This time is not just a storm that his Mom and Dad can handle alone, this time it is different and catastrophic and as much as I know how much he doesn't like us asking but we feel it is our duty to be human and look beyond our daily needs and spare the extras we have today for a family to just have the basics. We in return thank you from all our hearts  and wish you and all yours happiness and good health.
Mary and I will keep you posted on how the funds will be handled, since at this time right now we cannot wire or ship . Today is just a hope for a better tomorrow and collect as much as we can so it is ready when they start rebuilding we hope.
