Help George Rebuild His Home After Devastating Flood
Dear friends,
My name is Shiloh Salem Helena, and I'm reaching out to you today on behalf of my dear friend George, who lives in Ibere in Abia State, Nigeria, Africa. In September 2024, George's home was tragically impacted by a massive flood that affected many people in the area.
George and his family are incredibly special to me and my family—in fact, they named their firstborn son after my husband. Over the years, we've kept in touch, and we have never lost touch sending them care packages when they had a new little one, whenever we could. But this time, the situation is far beyond what we can handle alone. With the support of many giving a little we can rescue our beloved friend from remaining in his home so very close to the edge, The sandbags will do nothing if another terrential rain should come.
George's home, which was built by his eldest brother in 2017, is now in a dangerous location, less than 10 feet from the edge of a precipice. To ensure George and his family's safety, we need to help him rebuild his home in a new, secure location.
Even if you're unable to make a financial contribution, your prayers and well-wishes for George's safety and assistance are deeply appreciated. Moreover, if you come across someone in your own community who needs help—whether it's providing a warm meal or offering clothing for the approaching cold weather—lending a hand in any way will surely bring blessings from our Creator.
Every bit of help counts, and no gesture is too small to make a difference. We're grateful for your time, for sharing George's story, and for any help or prayers you can offer.
