Rebuild Hemlock Hall - Devastated by Flooding

Hi, my name is Acacia and I am trying to raise money to support the Provost family and staff at Hemlock Hall as they try to rebuild and recover from the devastating flood that occurred on July 11th.

In the wake of the the historic flooding in Blue Mountain Lake and the surrounding communities, our beloved Hemlock Hall Resort has sustained unimaginable damage. Chelsea and Tony Provost pour their heart and soul into this business and as it is their only source of income, they will be in dire need of funds to rebuild and support their staff and family in the months to come. As of this moment it looks as though they will not receive any insurance coverage for the damage or the loss of income for having to close at the peak of the season. This is financially and emotionally devastating for the business and their young family, with two toddlers at home. Moving forward the best way to support the family, business, and staff is to help rebuild. Thank you to everyone who has reached out already asking how you can help.

This year marks 125 years of the Main Lodge and 75 years of Hemlock Hall. If you’ve ever been to Hemlock, you know what a special place it is and its importance to the community of Blue Mountain Lake in the Adirondacks. And if you haven’t, we hope you’ll be able to visit one day.

We will post updates as we are able. We are all in shock and devastated, but with our help Hemlock Hall will surely rebuild and be ready for visitors again in the future. ❤️

Update- as of 7/12/23 it appears that the damage is at the least $400,000.
