Rebuild Hope: Equip Altadena with Ecoblock

1. Who we are. We are an NGO whose purpose is to provide adequate housing to the families most in need or in situations of misfortune. Through more than two decades of experience, we have worked in rural communities in America.

2. Where are we from. Friends of Echale is based in Miami, FL, as an organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 that promotes housing opportunities in low-income communities.

3. Relation with emergency. Hundreds of working families lost their homes in the community of Altadena, CA, and do not have the means to rebuild their assets.

4. How the funds will be spent. The resources raised through GoFundMe will be used to deliver equipment for the production of Ecoblock (ecological and fire-resistant construction material).

The amount of $25,000 is needed to provide equipment with the delivery capacity of Ecoblock to build 100 homes per year.

With training and integration of the community in the construction tasks, 100 houses can be built per year with each team.
