Rebuild Hope for a Family After Tragic Fire

Hello everyone. We’re a large family of 6 adults and 3 kids. An almost 8-year-old autistic boy, a 4-year-old little boy, and a 9-month-old baby boy. This morning we had to face something no family could ever imagine. At about 6:30 am, we woke up to the front of our house engulfed in flames. We quickly grabbed the kids and got everyone out as fast as we could. Within minutes, the fire spread quicker than we could’ve ever thought and we watched our whole house and all of our belongings burn down in front of our eyes before the fire department could show up and put it out.

As many of you may know, we are small business owners. Every drop of inventory, supplies, machinery, and more for our business is gone. Our business was our only income. This was how we paid our bills and most importantly clothed and fed our babies. We have absolutely nothing but the clothes on our backs, not even any shoes. No clothes for the kids. No furniture, baby toys. Nothing. We even lost some of our pets. This is the absolute most tragic thing that could’ve ever happened to us and we don’t even know where or how to start.

We know the goal may seem a bit high to some, but we’re hoping with as large as the world is and how many amazing people are out there, we could get enough to get back on our feet. Our 7-year-old was supposed to be celebrating his 8th birthday this weekend. Also, with him being autistic, level 2-3 on the spectrum, this is extremely hard for him to adjust and it’s just going to get harder. Any help is so very much appreciated so we can find a new home and restart our business that we’ve spent the last 4 years working so hard for to provide for our boys and give them the world.
