Rebuild Hope for Joyce and Her Grandchildren
Donation protected
My name is Terrilyn Alexander, my husband and I live in IL. Our family needs your help. Yesterday morning, in Wisconsin, our sister Joyce, had a terrible fire in the rented home shere she shared with her granddaughter Daijah, her husband, and their four small children.
They've lost everything they owned, the boys toys, clothing, including the coats off their backs. Many years ago, Joyce lost her daughter Xavier to leukemia, leaving two young children behind. Joyce stepped right in and raised her two grandchildren. Her granddaughter, Daijah, is now a young wife and mother, with four boys all under the age of 9-years-old. It was truly heartbreaking to see them huddled in a car without coats, hats, or gloves in freezing 20 degree weather, totally oblivious to their altered life.
Their grandmother Joyce is in her 70's, and has health challenges, with limited mobility, and walks with a cane. Joyce does her very best to care for her great grandchildren, babysitting while their parents work whet ever jobs they can find. Joyce tuly has a heart of gold. She loves her family and would do anything for them. Presently, they are living in hotels until they can find a stable place to live.
Our family is helping out with what ever we can but it's not enough for a family who has lost everything. My husband and I are reaching out to all of you to humbly ask you to donate what ever you can afford. We will be eternally grateful for your kindness.
