Rebuild Hope for Leta and Her Children
Donation protected
Leta and her children have been residents of Altadena since 2002. The home that she raised her three children in is completely gone and her neighborhood decimated. With the fire encroaching, Leta had seconds to grab all that she could to evacuate safely. With her quick decision, she grabbed her children and all her important documents and left everything else behind, never believing that within less than 24 hours later she’d find everything she worked so hard to obtain over the past 20 years to be gone.
I have known Leta and her three sons for over 24 years. She has successfully raised three amazing human beings that any parent would be proud of. With two in college, and one on his way, she has truly had her hands full. Her dedicated passion of giving back has led her to a 13 year career at the City of Hope as an oncology Clinical Research Nurse.
Leta and her children love their community. This community has raised, supported, and molded her family and she is not ready to abandon it. She plans to move forward with rebuilding her home. With each donation Leta and her family will be able to begin the normalcy of life that so many of us take for granted and currently still have.
Please join me in helping this family continue the legacy of this Altadena community so that her children can gain the same pride as the families before them.
