Renew Hope for Sarah and Scott's Family - CA Wildfires

To our loving family, friends, and communities, my name is Amanda McCune and my sister Sarah, her husband, Scott, and their five kids and dog lost their home and a lifetime of belongings in the Palisades Fire. Both Sarah and Scott give endlessly (Sarah by, ironically, designing beautiful homes for people, and Scott by helping grieving families through contentious estate matters) and would never ask anyone for anything, which is why I’m making this ask for them.

Let's surround them with love during this tragedy. We are grateful for any amount of generosity that you can provide this family during this difficult time. Your kindness will help them provide stability for their family over what I understand may be a many years-long process. This fundraiser aims only to help Sarah and her family with things that will not be covered by the limited benefits provided by FEMA or what benefits may eventually be paid out by the CA Fair Plan's limited insurance.

Before I go, I want to share a message my sister shared with me from their 11 year old son: “As I was apologizing to my husband and son about what I didn't grab from the house as I fled, my son said ‘I don't care about what you took from the house. You are alive. That's all that matters’". True words of wisdom.
