Help a Family Rebuild After the Altadena Fire.

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-hearted Supporters,

I’m reaching out to share about a fundraiser I’m organizing for a dear friend of mine who’s going through an incredibly tough time. They live in Altadena, California, and the mom is a middle school teacher at the Salem Lutheran Church School. They have recently lost everything due to unforeseen circumstances. As someone living in New York, I’ve felt the distance even more during this time, but I’m determined to do whatever I can to support them and I hope you will help me.

A devastating tragedy has struck my dear friends in Altadena. The Bontemps family lost their home in the recent Eaton Canyon wildfire in California.

With just 40 minutes to evacuate, they were forced to leave behind everything they hold dear—furniture, personal belongings, cherished memories—and fled.

They are temporarily staying with family and are looking for a home that is closer to where they used to reside, rebuilding their lives with stability and hope.

I am reaching out to ask for help. Any contribution will make a tremendous difference as they attempt to recover from this unimaginable loss. I pray that whatever you are able to give will be multiplied tenfold for your generosity.

Every donation will go directly to helping the Bontemps family start again. I am hoping to surpass the amount for this fundraiser.
