Help Wanda Carr Rebuild After a Devastating House Fire
Donation protected
We are reaching out to support Wanda Carr, a devoted community leader and single mother of five children, four of whom have disabilities. On Sunday, September 1st, Wanda’s home in Waynesboro, VA, was tragically destroyed in a fire. She and her children are currently staying in a hotel, but they urgently need assistance to cover the costs of food, clothing, temporary shelter, moving expenses, and essential items like toiletries.
Wanda has spent her life serving others. As the Vice Chair of Not Me—I Believe, an anti-bullying organization, and a community partner with Transformative Futures, where she mentors current and formerly incarcerated youth and their families on the path to reentry. Her dedication to helping those in need, especially youth and families, has touched countless lives.
Now, it's our turn to help Wanda. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in rebuilding her life and supporting her family during this incredibly challenging time.
Thank you for your generosity and support.
