Rebuild Hope: Mejia Family Food Truck

Hello, my name is Daniel. After an emotional roller coaster that my family went through this weekend, it's not easy to ask for help. It's not something that I or my family find ourselves doing. We are hardworking individuals that put in 110% all the time. Sunday morning, our source of income was destroyed. A drunk driver exceeding the speed limit caused a lot of damage, destroying kitchen equipment and leaving a huge hole in the side of the truck. The driver fled the scene and it seems like his vehicle was not insured. This leaves the total repair and new equipment to be fully replaced by us. It seems hopeless, but as our faith has taught my family and I, the night is darker just before dawn. We are working hard to repair our beloved truck so we can continue selling food and sustain our family. May God Bless every kind soul. We appreciate the help that can be provided and we ask if you can share our story. My family will eternally appreciate the help and support.

Mi nombre es Daniel, después de un sin fin de emociones que mi familia tuvo que pasar, no es fácil pedir ayuda. No es algo que yo o mi familia hacemos. Nosotros somos gente que damos el 110% todo el tiempo para el bienestar de nuestra familia. Después de una noche en donde nuestra forma de ingreso ha sido destruida. Donde al parecer un conductor borracho que manejaba a exceso de velocidad chocó contra nuestro carro de tacos, donde destruyó el equipamiento de cocina e hizo un gran agujero en el carro. El individuo huyó de la escena y dejó su vehículo pero desafortunadamente no tiene aseguranza dejándonos con las reparaciones total del vehículo. Tendremos que empezar de cero pero como hemos aprendido en nuestra fe. La noche es más oscura antes que el amanecer. Estamos trabajando duro para poder reparar nuestro carro y empezar a vender a nuestra comunidad y poder sostener a nuestra familia. Que dios los bendiga y si no hace el favor de al menos compartir esto con más gente estaremos eternamente agradecidos con ustedes.
