Rebuild House Fire, Everything Lost

Our parents, Elaine and Benjamin Quinones sadly lost their home and all personal belongings to a devastating fire on April 20, 2022, in Monte Vista, CO. The fire was aggressive and quickly spread, burning their home to the ground. No family possessions could be salvaged; everything was lost in the fire.

Our parents are at a complete loss of words and feel like it is a horrible nightmare after losing everything they had. While they are grieving the loss of their home, they are grateful for their safety, the outpouring of concern from people in the community, and all firefighters and emergency responders who helped aid during this tragedy.

It is going to take time for them to rebuild their lives. Our parents are looking for donations to go towards a new place to live and help restore some of their belongings. We appreciate anything and everything you are able to do to support during this heartbreaking time.
