Rebuild Infinity Success Academy
Donation protected
Hadii Mamudu, a Professor in the College of Public Health at East Tennessee State University, has been operating a K-12 school, Infinity Success Academy (ISA), since 2004 from his personal resources and the goodwill of people in the United States with donations of books and other school materials. Over the past decade, his work with this not-for-profit project has resulted in the school serving over 400 students and providing 27 staff. As his passion is providing high-quality education for all, regardless of personal or birth circumstances, most of the students enrolled in this school are from indigent or poor families. Indeed, his students’ school fees are significantly lower than most privately-owned schools in the city. A lifelong educationist like Dr. Mamudu encourages a strong belief in making sure that underprivileged students in the city also have a fair shot at a better future. As part of the school's successes and contribution to the growth and development of the Obuasi community and Ghana since 2010, the school has produced several graduates who have gone as far as finishing professional and college degrees in Ghana. You may think that the school is in a faraway place; however, students from the school are currently in the U.S. pursuing undergraduate and graduate education on scholarships. In this regard, these poor and underprivileged students in Infinity Success Academy may end up as one of your neighbors here in the U.S., contributing to the development of the country and the world, as well as their communities in Obuasi, Ghana.
We’re here raising funds to help Dr. Mamudu rebuild Infinity Success Academy after heavy rainfall on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, led to unusual flooding that submerged the entire school under the contaminated water. As a result of this massive disaster, all of the teaching and learning materials were completely destroyed. The school immediately closed down for major cleaning, necessary to ensure the safety of the students and staff. However, to ensure that the students will not miss the school term, they returned after two weeks of closure to manage things through the term; without most of the resources to ensure effective instruction. It has taken over a decade for Dr. Mamudu to build and collect the infrastructure and the learning materials and resources (including those from our beloved country) necessary to run the school. Almost everything has now been destroyed by the flood and needs rebuilding or replacement. As such, we urgently need your financial support to rebuild Infinity Success Academy from the effects of this devastating flood to be STRONGER and BETTER. Education is the only equalizer for most underprivileged students. You can ensure that this flood is not allowed to take an opportunity for a better future from them. Your donation will make a life-changing difference for these students and for generations to come.
Thank you for your generosity! Your contribution will help Dr. Mamudu provide a quality education for underprivileged students who may end up as leaders not only for their country but also the entire world.
