Rebuild Jaird's Art Studio after Fire

Hi, my name is Deja, and I am honored to call Joy and Jaird dear friends. Joy and I share a bond through our work in aesthetics, but beyond that, she and Jaird have been such kind, generous, and inspiring people in my life. They are the type of couple who give without hesitation, always uplifting those around them.

When I heard about the fire at St. Joseph’s Center in North Little Rock that destroyed Jaird’s art studio, my heart broke for them. They lost everything—including irreplaceable artwork that represented years of dedication and passion.

Jaird is a passionate artist who poured his heart into his craft. His art studio was more than just a workspace—it was a sanctuary where he and Joy spent time together, creating, dreaming, and supporting others. Their shared love for art and giving back made their studio a special place. Seeing them together, always so positive and vibrant, has always been a treat.

Joy is one of the most radiant, joyful, and uplifting women I’ve ever met. Her love for Jaird is evident in everything she does, and together, they are a couple that truly inspires those around them. They have always been the first to give and support others—now, it’s our turn to show up for them.

Today was supposed to be just another day. Jaird had planned to visit his studio to water his plants, only to arrive and find it engulfed in flames. While they are both safe, the devastation is overwhelming. This loss is made even more heartbreaking by the fact that today, due to extremely high winds, multiple wildfires broke out across Little Rock—a rare and unexpected event. No one could have prepared for this.

Jaird and Joy are the kind of people who always give to others. They are a creative, kind-hearted, and generous couple who have poured so much love into their community. Now, they need our help.
