REBUILD LAWSON DESIGN: HELP CALEB AND CANTON, N.C.

Canton, N.C. has been devastated by the floodwaters from Hurricane Helene. This GoFundMe is being started because Caleb Lawson needs our help. His business, Lawson Design (lawson.design), has been decimated. This company designs and creates beautiful concrete furniture, decorative fixtures, and decor—everything from concrete sinks to benches to countertops to bathtubs, and the list could go on. Lawson puts out a high-quality product.

Fortunately, Caleb's home and family are fine, but the business is a total loss. After 10-12 feet of water in his shop which left 10 inches of mud, nothing is salvageable. This means expensive equipment, materials, concrete molds, and all the necessary supplies and furniture needed to run a business. Canton is a small town and is dependent upon small businesses in order to thrive. Lawson Design, as an employer and as a manufacturer who ships products all over the country, is an important economic driver for this community. This means when you contribute to this fund, not only are you helping to restart a business that has a proven track record, but you are helping to restore economic development to the community of Canton, N.C. Major disasters create wonderful opportunities to love our neighbors, even though that neighbor may be many miles away, but they also underscore that we need one another. Right now, Caleb and his company, Lawson Design, need all of us.
