Rebuild Lick Skillet Farm: Your Help Needed
Donation protected
WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
Lick Skillet Farm has suffered a major setback. The main barn, which housed their poultry and pork operations, burned to the ground (photo above shows the barn, with newly installed solar panels, before it burned). This is a 100% family-run regenerative farm in the beautiful rolling hills of Tennessee. They focus on compassionate husbandry and sustainable agricultural practices. Farmers such as these are crucial to our future. Therefore, I'm asking all the good folks who share these values to pitch in and help them rebuild. The building was insured, but not the tractors, equipment, and all the feed, which threatens the future of the farm if they aren't able to recover these things. Fortunately, they were able to save most of their animals, as they always have open access to the outdoors.
We are aiming to raise $100,000 to help them get back on their feet. If you value this family and their farm, please consider donating whatever you can to support them. Every contribution makes a difference, big or small. We greatly appreciate your support.
