Rebuild Lives: Aid Chloe & Helena After Condo Blast

Hello, my name is Valerie Wilson. Tragedy struck my family at 6 pm on November 19. My nieces Chloe & Helena Bennett's condo building in Orion Township, Michigan exploded from an apparent gas leak. Both of them were home at the time and struggled to escape the fire that was quickly consuming their building. The building had shifted, making their front and sliding doors inoperable from the inside. Thankfully, they had a neighbor who was able to kick in the front door from the outside, and they all got out safely.

The girls have lost everything, including their pets. They will have to completely start over, which is a daunting task at this time in their lives when they both work full-time jobs and go to school. They are proud of their independence, which makes this journey even harder for them to have to ask for help. I, on the other hand, feel these hardworking girls deserve as much support as we can give them. Any donation, no matter the size, will be immensely helpful to them to rebuild their lives.
