Rebuild Lives: Ashley's Family Needs Help

Hello to all of my friends and family.

On Tuesday, January 7, we were ordered to evacuate due to the Eaton Fire. Channel 4 News was reporting from my street directly in front of our house, and at 6 am, our home was burning on live TV. We only left with a change of clothes, with the kids still in their school uniforms, thinking they would have a home to return to in the morning to even get their pets. Sadly, that wasn't the case.

We had 30 minutes to evacuate and only had a candle to use for light, so we didn't have time to gather any emergency documents or even my late father's ashes. My mother Catherine, myself Ashley, and my two children: Carter and Mackenzie lost everything. It was our home for 34 years and was a home full of memories and happiness and a welcoming home for anyone who entered our door.
