Help Us Rebuild and Make Our Sanctuary Safe

Tax deductible
For fifteen years, The Kerulos Center for Nonviolence has been devoted to Animal self-determination and dignity, providing lifetime care and sanctuary for abused and disabled Animals. Organizations and individuals around the world rely on us for guidance and support.

Now we urgently need your help.

Climate change has endangered our Sanctuary residents and hundreds of Wildlife who depend on us for food and safety. Unprecedented storms have toppled Trees and severely damaged the Sanctuary cabin, where many of the Animals live. These extreme events and power outages threaten our ability to maintain Animal safety and well-being (see photos).

We need your help to install an emergency generator system and clear dangerous dead and fallen Trees to keep the Animals safe. Please help us maintain health and security for the Animals.

The generator will provide a backup source of heat in winter to keep the endangered, disabled Desert Tortoises, Sebastian Sulcata, Rabbits and the Birds at steady healthful temperatures in winter, and cool for Birds, Cats, Dogs, Rabbits, and Panama Parrot (now in his eighties) in summer. The generator will also allow us to consistently support and safeguard the Indigenous Wildlife who rely on us for water and food in extreme weather.

Any and all donations are welcome and tax-deductible.

The Kerulos Center is a legally-incorporated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Oregon and established in 2008.
