Rebuild Mandalay Monastery (Ma Har Wi Thot Dar Yong, SiShin)

I am a Buddhist monk studying Buddhism in Mandalay. I was born in Myanmar, got my MD in the USA, retired from medicine, and now studying Buddhism as a Bikkhu in Mandalay.

We got hit by the earthquake with M 7.7 and a lot of buildings got destroyed. This is to fund the rebuilding of some of them mainly within the group Si Shin. Every dollar will go directly to the community of Buddhist monks led by the abbot and will be documented.

Ashin Sāriputta once said, "A person who gives Dana in return gets riches in life. A person who encourages others to give Dana gets large circles of friends." This teaching motivates me to start this gofundme donation project for the monastery. I welcome you to join me in the effort.
