Rebuild Melinda Williams Life After Hurricane Helene

This is for Melinda Williams, my mother-in-law. Her house, cars, animals, and everything she owned were completely destroyed by Hurricane Helene. She is a paramedic from Avery County, Banner Elk. who went home in the middle of her shift to save her animals and the little bit of things she could. She realized it was too late when she and her animals were inside the house and water came rushing in. In that short amount of time, her house was destroyed with her and her animals in it. She miraculously survived, but her animals perished, and she was left with nothing. She was rescued hours later in the raging water after holding onto a tree. The thought of her two kids and her grandchildren made her fight to the very end to survive. She is beat up, bruised, and cut, but she's alive and is left with absolutely nothing. Please help us rebuild her home, all funds raised on this fundraiser will help Melinda into getting another permeant home. Anything will help. Thank you for reading this story.
