Rebuild my niece's home in Viña del Mar, Chile

Hi, my name is Valeria Palacios and I started this Gofundme to raise funds to rebuild my niece's home.

My 8 year old niece Amanda and her mother Lorena live together and lost everything. Their house burned to the ground on Friday, February 2nd in Viña del Mar, Chile. They lost their home, car, possessions and most importantly, their beloved pets. Lorena is lucky to be alive and for that we are thankful. She rescued her uncle while his house was burning and 2 other adults including a 7 year old. She's a hero in my book and her guardian angel helped her through this tragedy.

The fires caused widespread devastation in Villa Independencia, el Olivar, Quilpue and other towns. Over 100 people have died, many are still missing and thousands are now homeless.

Please watch the news, do a little research and see the horrible images of what has happened for yourself. Believe me when I say it's hard to ignore.

I'm from Chile, Viña is my city and these are my people. I am far away from home so I can only ask you for your help and donate whatever amount you are comfortable with. Every little bit counts in these emergencies and there's so many people that need help.
