Rebuild Old Fort Bike Shop: Support Chad

My name is Chad Schoenauer, owner and operater of the Old Fort Bike Shop in Old Fort, North Carolina. After 3 years of business, Hurricane Helene has hit the reset button.

On September 27th, 2024,

3 feet of water and 8 inches of mud filled the shop. Now, I'm starting over.

The entire town of Old Fort has seen loss and destruction that has changed everything forever.

And now, it is time to rebuild, together.

I am raising funds to:

replace tools,

replace computers and business equipment,

and replace supplies and fixtures. Funds will also be used to pay the bills as the building repairs are completed.

With the encouragement of my clients and friends, I have started this GoFundMe. The outpouring of help and support from everyone near and far has been incredible. The way that our community has lifted each other up is why I am committed to keeping my shop in Old Fort.

Each contribution will reach far into the future of my business and the future of Old Fort.
