Rebuild our cafe & help local people at Christmas

Hello

Those who know us know how much our community cafe is needed in Tameside. We have a pay what you can service, free food stand provision and an emergency foodbank … plus lots of activities, support and counselling for the most vulnerable in our area.

Today (16th Dec) we were devastated to come into a collapsed ceiling following a rust pipe in the flats above us. Toys we had gathered for Christmas have been completely ruined, lots of food has been thrown away and our carpets, furniture and electrical items are ruined. We are devastated but remain positive.

We don’t have time on our side. We have so many people relying on us and need to soldier on regardless.

We can’t accept donations of items as we need to clear our building to allow it to dry and to allow tradespeople to access. We have set this up in response to many asking how they can donate so thank you

We will get through this. Please know this is just a blip and together we will come through as strong as ever
