Support the family on 34 Palm recover from the Eaton fire

Donation protected
The home I grew up in fell victim to the Eaton fire, leaving us with nothing but memories of our childhood, ashes and the steps to our front door. My nana (grandmother) left behind three small girls (my mother and aunts) when she migrated here from El Salvador. Like most immigrant families, she came here in hopes of being able to work towards providing her daughters with a better life. She moved to Los Angeles and worked cleaning houses and selling fruit until she gathered enough money to buy a house in Altadena. This home has been the heart of our family and a symbol of our journey and resilience. It was not only a two family household but also over the years a home to our cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and anyone who needed a place to stay. We have been truly blessed to have experienced the warmth that this home has provided for our family. As we cope with the loss of our home, we are asking for your help. No contribution is too small, and any amount is appreciated.

with deep gratitude,
the little green house on Palm
