Rebuild Overhead Surf Shop, Things, etc., and Windworks

Much like a lot of our friends & neighbors, Hurricane Helene has devastated our little family of businesses across John’s Pass in Madeira Beach, FL. While efforts have already begun to clean each shop, it’s tough to say when we will see a thriving, bustling “village” once again.

Bryan & Lauren Mullinix spend every day alongside their employees, shuffling between each store, putting the work in to keep their businesses on top & crews happy.

Over 3 feet of water filled each storefront last Thursday - Something we never thought possible. While much was lost, we are thankful that everyone is safe.

Things, etc. and Windworks have been a staple at John’s Pass for over 40 years & Overhead Surf Shop is to celebrate its 20th birthday this December.

The support & love we’ve seen over the past week has helped counter the shock & grief we all feel. Seeing this community rally together during this horrific event is no surprise at all - thank you, we love you!

We’re kindly asking for your support in helping with rebuild, labor & payroll for almost 20 employees across our three stores.
