Rebuilding Hope for Palisades Charter School
We are two mothers from Los Angeles, California, and our children have been proud students at Palisades Elementary Charter School (LAUSD: TK - Fifth grade) for the past two years. Recently, our community suffered an unimaginable loss when the Palisades fire destroyed our beloved school. The damage is beyond repair, leaving students, teachers, and families devastated. Many in our community have also lost their homes, along with the sense of security and comfort they provided.
Despite this heartbreak, we stand resilient. This fundraiser is dedicated to restoring Palisades Elementary Charter School and rebuilding the safe, nurturing environment that was a cornerstone of our children’s education. In collaboration with Principal Herman and the Palisades Enrichment Program (P.E.P.), a parent-run non-profit organization, we will ensure that every dollar goes directly toward the recovery efforts. Funds will be evenly distributed among classrooms to fulfill teachers’ wishlists for essential supplies, while also covering additional expenses needed to create a thriving educational environment.
Our school wasn’t just a place of learning—it was a home, a community, and a source of hope. Now, more than ever, our children need stability. By contributing, you help us rebuild not just classrooms but the sense of belonging and security our kids desperately need. As soon as funds become available, the first round of purchases will be made, with continued support to ensure that every child has the resources necessary to thrive.
Together, we are stronger. Together, we can rebuild. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. Let’s restore what this fire tried to take away from our community and give our children hope for a brighter future.
Thank you for your support!
