Rebuild Phillip's Family Farm in Western, NC
Donation protected
Hey y'all,
I’m Phillip, reaching out to you because my followers have shown incredible generosity in the past when it’s mattered most.
Two months ago, an unexpected hurricane brought devastation to the mountains of Western North Carolina. Our farm and surrounding community were hit hard by severe flooding, landslides, washed-out roads, and countless fallen trees. Many people lost homes, belongings, and tragically, even loved ones.
Amid the heartbreak, there were bright moments of resilience and solidarity. Neighbors we’d never met became friends. Strangers in town stopped to lend a hand. Volunteers arrived from far and wide to rescue, rebuild, and support people they didn’t even know—all at their own expense.
Despite all the good that’s been done, there’s still so much left to do. I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and take on the work, but I need some essential tools to make a real impact—and this is where you can help.
We’re raising funds for a mini excavator and a portable sawmill to:
Repair damaged roads.
Clear debris and fallen trees.
Repurpose those trees into valuable lumber for rebuilding.
Our minimum goal is to raise enough to rent these tools, but our dream goal is to purchase them outright. Owning this equipment means I can continue helping not just this winter, but well into next year, assisting neighbors and friends in rebuilding their lives and homes.
Your support will not only help our farm but also empower an entire community to recover and grow stronger.
Thank you for considering a donation—every bit helps us take one more step toward healing.
With gratitude,
Phillip
