Reo Varnado has been barbecue king of Portland for 25 years. He recently rented a tiny corner space, and was soon expanding his menu.
He has been assaulted twice, and the building defaced, because Mr. Varnado is black. Period.
Please help us rebuild this Portland landmark, and make REO'S RIBS the best place in town for soul AND heart food.
I own the building which was torched. It's fully insured. Reo and Myra lost not only their business, but thirty years of blood, sweat, tears, and prayers. As their friend, I have to help, so here we are, thanking you all for your generous support.
