Rebuild Robert and Gay’s Lives

Good friends of ours, Gay and Robert (Gronk) McDonald spent their lives sailing some of the most beautiful waters North Queensland has to offer. They made their home on their boat - the Dancing Dolphin.

On Thursday 16th February, the Dancing Dolphin started to unexpectedly take on water. What happened next is almost unimaginable. A long, arduous fight began, to save her.

Despite the best efforts of the community, and a marathon battle from Robert, the fight was sadly lost less than 2 days later.

Tragically, the Dancing Dolphin was uninsured….

Our beautiful friends have lost absolutely everything. Their home, and all their possessions…. They have been left with nothing.

Russ and I thought we would start this GoFundMe page to help them out in rebuilding their lives. At this time, they require somewhere to stay, a car to get around in, and basic clothing, and personal items.

Please, if you could spare a few dollars - every little bit will go a long way to helping such a generous, wonderful couple.
