Rebuild SCS After Typhoon Yutu
Donation protected
Please, help rebuild our school!
The island of Saipan has been decimated by super typhoon "Yutu." Our small school sustained severe damage. With your help, the donations we receive will allow us to rebuild our physical education storage, generator building, student restrooms, broken plumbing, classroom storage supply, and rebuild our playground and school library.
Saipan Community School was originally founded by the General Baptist denomination in mid-west America, and many of our hearts still call the states home. Even so, the children that we teach and watch grow are from many different cultures ranging all over the world. We all come together to call this island home and this school our community.
Most of our students' homes have been damaged and over 10,000 people on the island are rendered homeless. Please help us make this school a safe space our kids can depend on again and not only learn about the world but also about the love of Jesus.
My name is Jessica Williams. I am originally from Washington, Indiana. Currently I live in Saipan, and I am the first grade teacher at Saipan Community School. All donation given will be give directly to the school. Thank you for your help with our rebuilding process.
