Help Sirdah To Rebuild His Pharmacy

Note: This is not a new campaign. We are continuing our previous participation. We collected £18,000, but we faced some technical problems and did not lose the money. Therefore, we will complete our goal of about $100,000.

Hi everyone,
My name is Jihan and I'm fundraising for my friend, Mohammed who is from Gaza.
This is his story:

"Hello, I am Mohammed Sirdah, a 29-year-old pharmacist from Gaza. I used to own a pharmacy in the northern Gaza Strip.
I serve my community with essential medicines and healthcare services. My pharmacy became a lifeline for many during the ongoing war, where we tirelessly served the sick and injured for 50 continuous days despite the challenging circumstances.

Tragically, the Israeli army's bombing of the pharmacy's surroundings left it severely damaged, rendering it unfit for work. The contents were stolen, and my surroundings and home are now uninhabitable. Shortly after, they bombed the pharmacy building itself.

Today, I find myself without a home and without the means to rebuild my pharmacy – my sole source of income.

Here you can see the before and after pictures of my pharmacy.

I am reaching out to you for support to help restore and rebuild my pharmacy so I resume providing vital humanitarian services to patients in need. I am not seeking assistance for a new home or renovations; I only aspire to rebuild the pharmacy and continue serving the citizens of Gaza who rely on it for essential medical services.

In these difficult times, with many medical institutions in northern Gaza out of operation, your support is crucial. Your contributions will not only help me get back on my feet but will also ensure that my pharmacy becomes a beacon of hope for those in dire need of pharmaceutical and medical assistance.

Remember: by supporting this campaign, you will be helping not only me and my family, but also all the patients and people who would be served by the pharmacy after it is rebuilt.
A pharmacist in Gaza does everything from diagnosing illness and disease and prescribe needed medication to minor surgical procedures like stitching wounds.
In the face of this genocide, a pharmacist’s duties far exceed the usual. In many instances, it encompasses nursing and doctor duties as well. And still, we are doing all of this without medical supplies or medicine at this point.
A pharmacy is the quickest and most logical step to helping bring healthcare services back to my community. It is critical that this be returned as it once was as soon as possible.

Thank you very much for your kindness and generosity. Your support means the world to me and the community that relies on the services my pharmacy provides. Together, we can rebuild hope and resilience in the face of adversity."

With heartfet gratitude
