Rebuild Tair Harfa’s Solar Power System
Donation protected
Families in the village of Tair Harfa, Lebanon, need your support to rebuild its solar power water supply system. A project built by the local community for the local community.
In the midst of the unprecedented economic crisis in Lebanon, we worked hard in my small village, Tair Harfa, Lebanon, to supply the village with water through a Solar Power system that pumps water from a small natural water spring adjacent to the village.
After campaigning for a donation drive from both the village’s residents and expats, we managed to secure 80% of the total project cost (130,000 USD). We worked very hard for this project to materialize, and it became operational early this year. Our village was finally able to enjoy naturally sourced water that is needed for households and the irrigation of small gardens. Until yesterday. Israel decided to bomb the project.
Your contributions will make a big difference in the livelihood of a village mostly inhabited by farmers.
