Rebuild the Patle School Greenhouse in Nepal
Donation protected
This November, I’ll be climbing Ama Dablam, but my journey to Nepal holds more meaning than just the climb. Over the years, I’ve visited the country many times and formed close bonds with the people, particularly in the village of Patle. Many of my Sherpa colleagues live there, and I’ve seen firsthand the challenges they face.
The local school in Patle offers meals to the children, which allows families to send them to school without the worry of affording food. A large portion of this food was grown in the school’s greenhouse, but recent landslides have destroyed it, putting the meal program—and the children's education—at risk.
The villagers need around $1,500 to relocate and rebuild it, and I’m committed to helping that happen. To put my lungs where my heart is, if the sum is not raised by the time I summit, I’ll cover the shortfall myself.
Let’s come together to ensure these kids continue receiving the meals they need to thrive in school. ️
Please join me in supporting this cause and helping the children of Patle continue their education with the nourishment they need. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference.
