Help The Honkawas Rebuild After Devastating Fire

My brother Tracy, his fiancé Kendra, his mom Patti, and their little dog, Mokie lost everything in the recent Palisades Fire—a home they lived in and loved for over 40 years. This multi-generational sanctuary was the cornerstone of their lives, and in an instant, everything was gone.

The home was more than just walls and a roof. It was where my brother and his mom found peace and strength to rebuild their lives after separate bouts with cancer. My brother, a rare bone cancer survivor, was left with debilitating disabilities after multiple surgical treatments. The home was his lifeline- a place he knew how to navigate like the back of his hand. His mom, a breast cancer survivor, was newly into retirement and was starting to build her cottage baking business out of the home. And Kendra, a beautiful human and energy healer, would work her ‘sparkle magic’ helping others from the home.

When the fire erupted just up the street from them, they had moments to act and only grabbed the essentials, leaving behind a lifetime of belongings and irreplaceable memories.

The road ahead is daunting. Rebuilding their lives from scratch is not something anyone can do alone.
