Rebuild with Love: Help Marlana & Family After House Fire

On October 6, 2024, at around 9:40 p.m., Marlana Hitchings and her family of four, along with their beloved dog, narrowly escaped a house fire that tragically caused significant damage to their home and all four of their vehicles. While we are deeply grateful for their safety, the devastating loss of their home, cars, clothing, personal items, and nearly everything they owned has left them facing an incredibly difficult journey of rebuilding.

Marlana has been a cherished member of the Down to Earth Wellness Center family since its early days. She has consistently gone above and beyond for our community and has been instrumental in delivering the high-quality care our center is known for. At the beginning of 2024, Marlana decided to transition to a part-time role to balance family and work, but her contributions remain immeasurable, and we often refer to her as a “legend” on our team.

Now, in her time of need, we feel called to give back. Down to Earth Wellness Center is launching a fundraising effort to support Marlana and her family during this incredibly challenging time. Every donation will go directly to helping them rebuild their lives, providing much-needed financial relief for essential items, temporary housing, and replacing their vehicles.
