HELP PACTA UGANDA REBUILD LIVES AFFECTED BY ALCOHOL & DRUGS

Hi, my name is Lucy Nyeko; I visited Gulu in Northern Uganda and came across an organization called PACTA (Program for Prevention, Awareness, Counseling and Treatment for Alcoholism and Addictive illnesses). It was started by a Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Okidi Mwaka of the Archdiocese of Gulu, to combat the problems affecting the war-torn Northern region. Most people have become alcohol and drug dependent, which affects individual health, productivity, families and entire communities. The organization has established a residential treatment center [FR. BILL TREATMENT AND REHAB FACILITY] for those already affected since 2018.

The cost of treatment is high and most communities are not in position to meet the cost.

I kindly request for your urgent need to support the organization. Your donation will help subsidies the cost of treatment and help the organization meet the cost of running the rehab as well as outreaches to schools to provide peer support in order to prevent the young from the dangers of substance abuse. Any amount of contribution you give will be highly appreciated.
