Rebuilding a Life - Gabe’s Teen Challenge Story

We have been given the phenomenal chance to give Gabe the restart he has deserved. Gabe has been given the opportunity to rebuild his life at Teen Challenge this past December and we could not be anymore proud of the progress he has already made.
17 is way to young to have the experiences this young man has had to endure. Coming from a broken home, diagnosed with PTSD, and for his sake we choose to not give the gruesome details he had to undergo. But needless to say, mental health truly is a struggle far too heavy for anyone, let alone a teenager to deal with.
But by the grace of God, and through the help of Teen Challenge, we hope that it shows him that he is not defined by these things or the choices he has previously made. Teen Challenge along with an amazing staff; offers biblical support, schooling, drug classes, and emotional support in this time of redefining his way of life. We are hopeful due to the fact that this specific facility has tremendous success rates!
With such a great opportunity comes immense payments that would be overwhelming for the average family. Gabe’s mother who is absolutely overjoyed to give him a real shot at growing into a man, has become quickly burden by the financial pressure due to not only supporting her family independently but also covering the legal expenses it is taking to get custody.
She truly couldn’t be anymore grateful knowing that her son is in safe hands, and on the path to a life changing recovery - but we’re asking both family and friends if they would link arms with this family and show Gabe that he has our support and that the family is not alone. We have been standing on the scripture that what the enemy has meant for evil that God can turn it around for good, and we have no doubt that that is what is taking place in Gabe’s life right in this moment. Monthly payments for 15 months: $9000 (Payments include - housing, schooling, food, uniform, and student life fees)
