Rebuilding After the Fight: Help Us Move Forward
Donation protected
The past few years have been some of the hardest of my life. I went through a long and emotional court battle to bring my youngest son home to North Carolina. After two years of fighting, I won—and he’s finally here with me. While I’m incredibly grateful for that outcome, the financial strain it caused has been overwhelming.
Now, I’m doing everything I can to rebuild. I’m an active-duty soldier (E6), a full-time single mom of two, and I receive no child support. I fall into that tough in-between—earning too much to qualify for assistance, but not enough to get ahead. And because most of my financial hardship stems from court costs, I don’t qualify for programs like Army Emergency Relief.
I’m actively looking for ways to earn extra income, but juggling military duties and parenting alone makes that difficult. I’m asking for a little help to get through this final stretch. Any support you can give will go directly toward helping me and my boys stabilize and move forward.
