On February 2nd 2024, Arco Diez Cafe experienced a severe fire incident that lead to the business's temporary closure and destructive damage to the building and equipment. Thankfully, all the staff and customers were able to evacuate safely.

We created this fundraiser to help the rebuilding of Arco Diez Cafe, the owner (Wren Louise Almendral) who is the nephew of Genie Almendral Llanzana.

"We embarked on the journey of creating Arco Diez Cafe last 2021 aiming to provide quality coffee and homemade delectable dishes, it has been a challenging yet fulfilling venture born out of the necessity to survive during the pandemic.

The love and passion that define Arco Diez sustained us. However, a tragic event unfolded tonight as a catastrophic fire engulfed the cafe, reducing nearly 85% of it to ashes. Despite the devastation, we salvaged what we could. And with the strength within us to move forward, start again, and come back stronger this year.

I'm grateful for all the heartfelt messages, concern, and continuous support from everyone and the community. A big thanks to those who offered their regards. Despite the challenges, I feel blessed to report that no one was hurt.

I extend my sincere apologies to our neighbors and customers for any safety concerns I may not have addressed in the state of shock. Thank you all."
