Rebuilding Dee's Life After Devastating Loss

My name is Ruth Vigil Napoli I live in Denver, Colorado. My friend and colleague of 22 years, Dee Forman (AKA Donny Gorman) called me on the morning of January 8th with the worst possible news. He lost his home in Altadena, CA due to the Eaton Canyon fire. He needs funds to buy personal items, various home furnishings, clothes and other items He lost all of his personal property. On top of the fire, In 2019 he suffered a major neck injury in a car accident and in 2021, he got hurt at work with a major injury to his shoulder. He is a good friend and a heck of a co-worker. FEMA has his application under review and it is taking weeks to process. He has found a job at a casino (pending a background check) in California and is in the process of filling out the paperwork etc which will take multiple weeks to get clear. He is trying to get back to his life and is desperately trying to put all of this behind him. Like so many others in this situation, he has to start all over from square one.
