Rebuilding From the Ashes: The Shae Daher Family Fund

We are reaching out with heavy hearts during a harrowing time for my son, Shae, his wife Kate, their darling daughter Bea, and their beloved cat Max. What began as an ordinary day quickly turned into a nightmare when a fire originating from the neighboring property devastated their cherished home. This incident has truly shaken their family to its core.

The fire could not have come at a more unfortunate time. Financially, they are facing an uphill battle, as their insurance coverage will fall short of meeting the real costs they will endure while their home is being reconstructed—a process expected to last between 12 months to 18 months.

Shae and Kate will need support to reestablish themselves while struggling with a limited and, albeit slow, insurance process, the day-to-day practicalities and the emotional toll of reassembling their lives from scratch cannot be underestimated. They have been left with almost nothing but the clothes they were wearing, losing not only their personal belongings but the security of their daily lives.

I have created this GoFundMe campaign to assist them in navigating the immediate necessities: clothing, meals, accommodations, and essential household items, as they search for a temporary place to call home.
