Rebuilding Hope & Home. Supporting The Hebb-Keddy Family

When tragedy hits those you love, the longing to make them smile again is an ache that we have all been faced with at one time or another. That is what our family tried to do after the sudden loss of Nick Keddy, at 37 years of age. His 4 children were grieving, and their smiles were not as frequent as we wanted them to be. We convinced Rachael to join us on a family vacation to Moncton and it was amazing! We seen them forget what grief felt like for a few days, it was the beginning of letting happiness back into their lives. However, when returning from their vacation, tragedy struck this kind-hearted and modest family again.

They pulled into their driveway to find their home fully engulfed in flames. Everything they have ever owned and all the happiness that they experienced was burning. They lost everything! Family heirlooms, simplistic trinkets that have brought them comfort. The loss of their family dog, Sadie and cat, Mose are what hurt the most.

How does such a wonderful group of children and their mother get through yet another loss? I do not have the answer to that question, but I do know, that again we long to make them smile and that this family deserves a home! At very minimum they deserve a roof above and walls around them.

We are asking that you generously donate if you can. Your donation will alleviate some of the cost in getting the essentials that are needed now, and for Rachael to start to rebuild her and her 4 children’s home.

When this home is rebuilt, it will be filled with love, laughter and compassion. Your generosity will be accepted with the outmost gratitude and be the first step to let this family let happiness in again.
