Rebuilding Hope for Jouda Family survival in Gaza

Hello, my name is Rewaa Jouda. I am a mother of three beautiful children and part of a large, close-knit family living in Gaza. My life, along with my family's, has been profoundly affected by the recent war in our homeland.

Our once joyful and bustling household has been shattered. The war has left our homes in ruins, and we've lost the everyday joys we once knew. We narrowly escaped death and are now living in a large storehouse with my extended family. The conditions are dire – we struggle for basic necessities like food, water, medicine and clothing.

Amidst this chaos, my father suffered a stroke due to the stress and harsh living conditions. He is now disabled, reliant on a wheelchair, and unable to use his right hand. We desperately need help to provide him with professional medical treatment and the possibility of travelling abroad for better care.

My brother, injured during an attack, faced further complications due to insufficient medical supplies at the hospital. He needs an urgent operation to save his leg, which, without proper medical attention, may lead to disability. We are seeking support for him to receive the necessary surgery abroad.

Another heartbreaking story is of my younger brother, who had just started his marital journey. His new apartment, a symbol of his new life, was destroyed, along with all his belongings, leaving him and his pregnant wife without a home or any mementos of their wedding.

Tragically, one of my brothers, a kind and gentle soul and a loving father, was lost to us. He leaves behind a wife and two young children, aged 4 and 5 years, whose lives have been forever altered by this profound loss. His death has left a void in our hearts, and his family now faces the grim reality of life without him. They urgently require support to afford basic living expenses, which are both scarce and extremely costly in Gaza. Additionally, assistance is needed to rebuild their home and create a stable, nurturing environment for the children during this challenging time.

Urgently, we need to use the first 24K CAD we get towards covering the evacuation Fee/Egyptian coordination through Hala agency for me, my husband and threes kids. So we are reaching out for your compassion and generosity. Your support can make a crucial difference, helping us secure basic necessities to endure this catastrophe, rebuild our homes, ensure essential medical care for my father and brother, and offer much-needed support to my brother's widow and their children.
