Rebuilding Hope: Help Support the Cosby Family
Donation protected
We come to you with heavy hearts and an appeal to help support the Cosby family, who recently experienced a devastating tornado that damaged their home and left them without a roof over their heads. Jennifer Cosby, her husband Seth Cosby, and their four children, Emma, Abby, Colt, and baby John, have been left reeling from the damage.
The tornado completely tore off the roof, rafters, and trusses of their home, rendering it unlivable. While the ceilings of the rooms remain intact, water damage plagues their living room and kitchen, with water leaking in, further exacerbating the situation. The family is uncertain about the salvageability of their home and is currently navigating the complexities of dealing with insurance to assess the extent of the damage.
Adding to their immense burden is the health condition of baby John. At just 15 months old, John has been diagnosed with Stage 5 kidney failure due to Bilateral Kidney Dysplasia. Despite the challenges, John has been approved for a transplant with Nationwide Children’s, and the family eagerly awaits his anticipated active date of March 22. In the meantime, John is dependent on a Gtube for all nutrition, requiring constant care and attention.
Seth and Jenn have dedicated their lives to serving the community and taking care of their family. Seth, with ten years of service as a police officer for the Springfield Police Department and almost five years as a firefighter/paramedic with the Springfield Fire and Rescue Division, has been a pillar of strength for his community. He has also served in the Army National Guard, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to duty and service. Jenn, with thirteen years of experience as a nurse, currently works part-time as an administrative assistant for a tax and accounting firm. Her decision to work part-time allows her to be available for baby John’s numerous medical appointments and procedures, ensuring he receives the care he needs.
As friends, family, and members of the community, we have the opportunity to rally around the Cosby family during this challenging time in their lives. Your generous contributions will go directly towards rebuilding their home and alleviating the financial strain caused by the tornado’s destruction and caring for baby John.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in the lives of the Cosby family. Let us come together to offer our love, support, and solidarity during their time of need. Together, we can help them rebuild their home and provide a brighter future for their family.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and unwavering support.
