Rebuilding Hope: Support for Fadi Al Shanti

My name is Anis, I am from Tunisia and I am managing this fundraiser for a friend of mine who has suffered severely from the attack launched by Israel on Gaza which led to the destruction of his house. The text below consists of his words.

"My name is Fadi Taha, and I am a resident of Gaza City. The recent conflict has left my family and me devastated. Our home was destroyed in the bombings, and we lost everything we owned. And i care for my five children alone.

The destruction caused by the war has left us in a dire situation. With no home to return to and no means to provide for my family, I am reaching out for help. Despite the challenges we face, I am determined to rebuild our lives and provide a safe and stable environment for my children.

In addition to caring for my own children, I am also responsible for my sister and brother, who have three children of their own. The burden of supporting our extended family weighs heavily on me, but I am committed to doing whatever it takes to ensure their well-being.

Your support can make a world of difference to us during this difficult time. Donations will go towards rebuilding our home, replacing essential belongings, and covering the basic needs of my family. Every contribution, no matter how small, will bring us one step closer to rebuilding our lives and securing a brighter future for my children and our extended family.

The objective of the campaign is to depart from Gaza and embark on a new journey in a different country. This decision stems from the unfortunate loss of our jobs, homes, and possessions.

Currently, I am a student pursuing my master's degree in Germany, having previously completed my bachelor's degree in Hungary as a scholarship recipient. Through my studies and experiences, I have developed a deep empathy for those facing humanitarian crises, particularly our brothers and sisters in Gaza.

I am fortunate to have a close friend whom I trust implicitly, and who shares my passion for supporting those in need in Gaza. This friend maintains direct communication with Fadi and has assured me of his integrity and dedication to aiding his community.
