Rebuilding Family Plumbing Business After Theft

Hello, my name is Jess, I’m Robert’s daughter and a proud employee for K R Plumbing. Yesterday morning at 4:26 am, our work truck was stolen along with 30k worth of tools and machines. It was found by the owner of the business our truck was stripped and dumped outside of who was kind enough to call us and let us know where it was. We drove to clean the mess they made and get our truck back. The back door was ripped off and the ignition has been broken. We kept our truck’s steering wheel locked up with a thick cable and a heavy steel club both of which had been cut from the wheel. In 2.5 minutes they had 10+ years worth of tools and our livelihood in their possession to resell for their own personal gain. My father has spent years building this business up, always vowing to keep good plumbing services accessible to everyone. Honesty, hard work, and customer satisfaction are some of the key things that make up our business. Asking for money is not something we usually do, however I was able to convince my dad to set up this gofundme after many calls and emails from kind people asking for a way to help. We want to stress that we are so incredibly grateful to everyone who’s already contacted us and everyone who either donates, shares our story, or even just reads through our story.
