Rebuilding Lives After Fire: Support the Reddings

Dear friends and community,

We are reaching out to ask for your support and kindness during a difficult time for our dear neighbors, Chris and Tom Redding. On 7/21/23 around 4am, their home in Lowes Island, VA was struck by lightning, causing a fire that left them with almost nothing. Thankfully, they made it out safely along with their beloved dog, Kaspian, who is truly their furry guardian angel.

As their neighbors, we have seen Chris and Tom always lend a helping hand to others in need. Now, it's our turn to come together and extend that same generosity to them. We are setting up this GoFundMe campaign to help them rebuild their lives and provide the essential resources they need to start anew.

Any contribution, big or small, will make a significant difference and help alleviate the burden they are facing. Your support will go directly towards helping them find temporary housing, replace essential belongings, and begin the process of rebuilding their home.

In addition to supporting Chris and Tom, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to the local emergency and rescue team. Their swift response and bravery ensured that Chris, Tom, and Kaspian were safely rescued from the flames. Their dedication to protecting our community is truly commendable, and we cannot thank them enough for their service.
