Rebuilding Lives: Donate to Overcome Fire Loss

Hello, my name is Janie and I’ve been living at my new property for about three months now. I was just kicked out of a property I had been living at for about 30 plus years by my own family, not including the money put into that property furthermore, taking a lot more money due to our situation, to move our mobile home, property, and pay for a new property just to have a lot of it burn down due to the negligence of a couple of people. The mobile home is now unlivable due to the fire making the structure weaker, it also caused a few smaller parts of our home to catch fire besides our bedroom and everything we own now makes us sick due to the smell.

I am a peddler and sell wood for a living, I spend all day, every day selling wood , cutting wood , and splitting wood . Besides where my family and I lay our heads at night, it destroyed a lot of my property, product, machinery, and much more that was left on our trailer that was virtually incinerated by the fire. Not including the unsalvageable.

It feels as if we can’t take a break through this storm. No matter what, we will push forward. Our goal amount may seem steep to some people, however to us it isn’t enough. But, don’t let that stop you from even a dollar because that dollar itself is a blessing.
